Minister announces $2 million for five new buses, signage and bus stops
Charlottetown,Prince Edward Island,Canada -The Guardian, by Dave Stewart -7 July 2006: -- Nova Scotia MP and cabinet minister Peter MacKay drove into Charlottetown Thursday afternoon on the city's newest bus and handed Mayor Clifford Lee a cheque for close to $2 million that will be used to upgrade the capital's transit system... The money is being used to replace the five transit buses currently motoring through the city with five brand new buses. The five presently being used are leased while the city will own the new ones...
