Not Eligible - Australia - Firm fears it will miss the bus
Adelaide,Australia -Australasian Transport News (subscription) -4 July 2006: -- Torrens Transit, which runs 75 per cent of Adelaide bus routes, fears losing its contract with the SA Government and has admitted in a leaked internal document that it is continuously failing to run on time. The document warned the company continued to fail to meet benchmarks and unless standards were lifted, it would not be eligible to re-tender for the next contract period... Recent service quality reports by the Transport Department's Public Transport Division have allegedly identified unacceptable levels of early running...
