Production - India - Tata & Marcopolo in JV to build buses
New Delhi,India -Business Standard/PTI -May 5, 2006: -- Tata Motors today announced setting up of a joint venture with Brazilian company Marcopolo for manufacturing fully-built buses... A plant will be set up in India by the JV at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore... "Tatas will hold 51% in the venture while the rest will be with Marcopolo. The JV will set up a new manuacturing facility, to go on-stream in the next 2 months," a Tata Motors spokesperson said.
