Up to dated - India - BMTC to run hitech bus services soon
The low-floor buses will be air-conditioned - All the buses will be equipped with global positioning system
Karnataka,Bangalore,India -The Hindu, by Anil Kumar Sastry -11 Jan 2006: -- Bangalore will soon get a gift from Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) in the form of air-conditioned, low-floor and auto transmission Volvo buses of Euro III model... While 25 buses are to be taken on contract from private operators, BMTC will deploy another 25 on its own, officials said. BMTC conductors will be deputed for the private buses, while the private operators will employ their own drivers...
