Want less traffic? - USA - Take the bus

Mass transit, starting with better bus service, would be the quickest route, but - you know - buses are for poor people... Bus riders who know better have it tough because Hampton Roads Transit is, well, poor. It's poor because the financial commitment to make it better is lacking. The commitment is lacking because the perception is - you know - buses are for poor people... Susan Harris of Williamsburg supports mass transit and challenged me to promote its benefits instead of criticizing the snobs. Harris fled Atlanta because of the traffic and sprawl...
