Sales Fall - USA - Nov.: Ford 15%; DaimlerChrysler Drops 2.7%
USA -Bloomberg -Dec. 1, 2005: -- Ford Motor Co., the second-largest U.S. automaker, said its U.S. sales of cars and trucks fell 15 percent in November, led by declines for sport-utility vehicles. DaimlerChrysler AG's sales dropped 2.7 percent... Analysts expected the November results to be affected by employee-pricing offers by General Motors Corp., Ford and Chrysler that boosted sales earlier this year... GM, Ford and Chrysler in November increased incentive spending to spur demand. GM offered discounts of more than $10,000 on some of its largest SUVs.
