Low Floor - India - High-capacity buses hit the road in Capital
NEW DELHI,India -The Times of India -Nov 04, 2005: -- The ambitious high-capacity bus project finally took off on Thursday with the Chief Minister flagging off five buses from DTC depot. But the original plan has been dumped, the fleet is called "low floor urban buses" and it will act as a feeder service... Five of the six buses started their journey from DTC's depot at Indraprastha at 11 am on Thursday. Decked with garlands, the buses attracted a lot of curious looks from people on the roads.
