Belfast,UK -Belfast Telegraph, by John Simpson -06 June 2005: -- Wrightbus Ltd is the descendent in 2005 of a small business started almost 60 years ago in 1946. Originally named Robert Wright and Son (Coachworks) and renamed in the 1990s, one of the founding fathers, William Wright, who is still in harness, describes the company as the idea of two young fellows when they left the local 'tech'... For the younger generation a 'tech' (technical college) would now be described as a college of further education... Today the company is described as Europe's leading independent bus manufacturer...
