STORIES - MALAYSIA - Bus driver saves passengers
Persekutuan,Malaysia -New Straits Times, by PETALING JAYA -June 30 2005: -- Five bus passengers escaped injury when the quick-thinking driver got them out of the vehicle just before it went up in flames this morning... The Triton bus was heading from Kuala Lumpur to Klang about 9.30am when driver, Abidin Ahamad, 40, heard a bang at Km13 of the Federal Highway, near the Guinness Anchor brewery... A tyre on the left side of the bus had burst and he saw sparks through the left view mirror... "It might have sparked the fire," he said.
