Odessa,TX,USA -Odessa American, By Cliff Hamilton -Jun 15 2005: -- After some initial hesitation, the Odessa City Council agreed Tuesday to give the EZ Rider bus system an extra $100,738 for new, bigger buses.But at a briefing before their meeting Tuesday, some council members expressed doubts about buying bigger buses.The Midland-Odessa Urban Transit District asked Odessa and Midland to contribute $100,738 each to secure $983,679 in matching federal funds for four new, 30-foot heavy-duty buses...
