LONDON,UK -Reuters,by Michael Smith -Jun 22, 2005: -- Stagecoach Group beat forecasts with higher annual profits on Wednesday as growth in its rail and bus businesses helped to offset higher fuel costs... Stagecoach said it expected to win new rail franchises this year and expand its business but faced headwinds from higher bus fuel costs and uncertainty over the level of government subsidies that would come with new rail franchises...
