-- You've seen the video, cars illegally passing a school bus as they pick-up and drop-off kids. New bus cameras have been able to catch a car's license plate, but many drivers got off scott-free because a bus driver or witness couldn't pick them out of a lineup... Now law makers are hoping to cut down on the growing problem by fining or jailing the owner of the car if a driver can not be identified... While bus drivers see this bill as a victory, not everyone is happy... The bill must be passed by the House and signed by the Governor before it becomes the law...
