New Delhi,India -Outlook India -Feb 13, 2011: -- Over 250 drivers of DTC buses were challaned for traffic violations in the capital on a single day with police saying they may be bending rules under the impression that they can get away being government employees... Traffic policemen prosecuted as many as 260 drivers of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) yesterday during a drive launched following complaints about increase in violations and accidents committed by the government-run buses... Thirty-two buses were also impounded...  He expressed hope that this sustained action will ensure better road discipline by everybody... On Friday, Garg had discussed the issue with senior DTC officials and suggested to them that they should sensitize their drivers about observing rules on roads failing which they will be prosecuted as per law...
