Crooks Steal * USA - Catalytic Converters From Buses
Brodheadsville,Pennsylvania,USA -WNEP TV, by Jennifer Borrasso -August 12, 2010: -- State police in the Poconos are looking for the people who stoele a half dozen catalytic converters from school buses in a lot behind Pleasant Valley High School... Investigators said the thieves got away with thousands of dollars worth of valuable platinum inside those converters, which are used to control vehicle pollution... State police in Monroe County said the school buses were easy targets. Investigators said they have good leads and anticipate arrests soon... According to police, the thieves stole $9,000 worth of catalytic converters from six Pleasant Valley school buses. The converters were taken from the bus lot behind the high school, along Route 209 near Brodheadsville...
