Northeast Valley,AZ,USA -The Arizona Republic, by Dolores Tropiano - Mar. 8, 2008: -- Since DART started, well, darting around Desert Ridge Marketplace in January, Nick Meris has become a regular on the free city shuttle... DART, the Desert (Ridge) Area Revolving Transport, is one of two new circulator buses added in January by the Phoenix Public Transit Department. The other new addition to the mix is the Deer Run... With these two additions, Phoenix now has six free buses that, together, help more than 158,000 people each month travel around their neighborhoods... They are an invaluable asset for seniors to travel to and from medical centers... The circulators have also been helpful for mothers and teenagers...
