Buses under Attack * Australia - Street routes banned
Undercover police will ride buses through a western Sydney suburb where two streets have been declared public transport no-go zones

The Transport Workers Union (TWU) said Westbus, the government contractor for the area, had cancelled services in Van Diemen and Discovery avenues in Willmot after a bottle was hurled at the windscreen of a bus on Thursday... It was the second time in six months that public transport in Willmot has been disrupted as a result of attacks on buses, with the TWU fearful for driver and passenger safety... More buses were being fitted with CCTV cameras and officers would travel undercover as passengers...
