Brisbane,Australia -ABC News -18 Dec 2007: -- The Brisbane City Council has warned there may be public transport delays tomorrow after 40 buses were taken off the road because of safety concerns... Public transport chairwoman Victoria Newton says a number of drivers have complained of sudden unexpected speed acceleration and a decision was made to take the buses off the road until the fault is found... She says the Brisbane City Council has almost 900 buses in its fleet and there should be minimal disruption to public transport...
