* UK - All change for bus passengers
Bus routes are to change as a station is shut down to make way for a new concourse of shops
Sunderland,UK -The Sunderland Echo -9 Nov 2007: -- ... Services in Seaham town centre will use the new interchange on South Crescent from Monday as the new £18million Byron Place shopping centre opens... It will be the end for the ageing bus station, which has become an eyesore and magnet for troublemakers and the homeless... The land is to be used as part the St John's Square development, a £15million project which will see shops, houses, council services, a library, public open space and car parking created on the site... Go North East is making minor alterations to routes, with ticket prices to be simplified... (Image from www.easington.gov.uk: Shopping mall, "Byron Place")
