Fewer Buses * USA - Just when we need more
It's hard to say just how inadequate public transit is. After all, there's no statistic that measures how many people don't take a bus because they can't get to it, or because it doesn't run late enough for them to get home from work

So the cancellation of the two routes at the end of this month might seem like a simple inconvenience for a few. But, in fact, it exacerbates a problem that's only going to get more acute... People who work odd hours for low pay - restaurant or retail workers, for example - are often the very ones who need public transportation the most. And they're the ones least helped by a system set up largely for commuters...
