Adelaide,South Australia,Australia -The Advertiser Adelaide, by MICHAEL OWEN & GREG KELTON & XANTHE KLEINIG -Nov 03, 2006: -- Seatbelts will be fitted to 49 existing school buses, despite the State Government having ruled fitment out 10 weeks ago... The move has sparked renewed calls for seat belts to be retro-fitted... The Government in August announced only new school buses bought for future use would have seatbelts installed, ignoring some 600 existing buses, including 49 new buses bought in the past four years... Scotland,UK -The Scotsman -4 Nov 2006: -- Bus chiefs have warned that antisocial behaviour in Midlothian could lead to a serious injury... Last week, Lothian Buses withdrew services between the centre of Penicuik and nearby Deanburn after a gang of youths hurled missiles at a vehicle... A spokesman for the firm said groups of teenagers have regularly been congregating close to the Deanburn terminal over the past four weeks... On Thursday night, two windows were smashed on a number 37 bus at around 9pm, forcing Lothian Buses to curtail services until midnight... The firm said it would not compromise the safety of its passengers or staff...
