Glasgow,Scotland,UK -Glasgow Evening Times -18 Aug 2006: -- Yobs who vandalise city bus shelters and harass passengers could soon be caught on CCTV... A scheme to boost safety for the travelling public by installing security cameras at bus stops has been given the go-ahead, with trials to begin later this year... Nine cameras will be installed in trouble hot-spots in Glasgow, South Lanarkshire and North Ayrshire... New technology means the cameras could be almost invisible, although the law states the public must be informed they are there...
