Camden, SC,USA -Camden Chronicle Independent, by TERRI HYDER -July 10, 2006: -- As the 2006-07 school year rolls in, the Kershaw County School District will welcome several new buses to its current fleet... The district's new buses are part of an order signed by State Superintendent of Education Inez Tenenbaum recently. The state will receive 630 new school buses -- its first major school bus purchase in more than 10 years, according to the State Department of Education -- who said the purchase was "made possible by a $36 million appropriation from the General Assembly"...
