Aging -Canada - Western school buses even older than in east
Charlottetown,Prince Edward Island,Canada -CBC NewsPrince Edward Island -Apr 11 2006: -- An auditor general report outlining problems with aging buses in the Eastern School District has been followed by news that buses in the western district are even older... Two weeks ago the provincial auditor general, Colin Younker, raised concerns about the age of school buses in Eastern P.E.I... He found 30 per cent of buses in the east were more than 12 years old, too old to be in service in many other provinces... But the problem is even worse in the Western School District. There almost half the buses exceed the 12-year limit put in place by other provinces. Three of them are 20 years old...
