School Buses Heat * USA - Officials mull cooler buses

Gainesville,GA,USA -The Gainesville Times, by By JEFF GILL -19 Aug 2007: -- The West Georgia school system bought seven air-conditioned buses in 1995 and then another 21, its entire fleet, in 2000, said Skip Veljkov, the district's transportation director... He said the system made the move partially to "control discipline" but also to "provide comfort for children"... But the Gainesville and Hall County school systems don't have such a luxury in their nearly 250 buses combined, except for the relative handful of buses that serve children with special needs...
