Klang,Malaysia -charles santiago, by ELAN PERUMAL -February 9, 2009: -- Express bus operators disappointed by the poor business at the Klang Sentral transport hub have stepped up the pressure by organising a boycott of the terminal... Instead, they are picking up and dropping off passengers from the roads around the hub... A visit to the site showed that the hub at Jalan Meru, which was opened on Dec 27, was almost a ghost town with the bays almost totally empty...Shira Express bus operations manager Suhaizam Md Shah said the company had 17 buses that provided services from Johor Baru to Haatyai... Wolverhampton,England,UK -The Express & Star -3 Mar 2008: -- The Vegetarian Society is angry at a decision by National Express West Midlands to equip its new buses with leather seats in a bid to entice drivers to leave their cars in favour of public transport... The company has said it is trying to do more to offer a good quality of service to passengers as well as buses that run on time... But the society say the move causes unnecessary suffering to animals as synthetic coverings on seats would be cheaper and just as comfortable...
