* Jamaica - New JUTC buses ready to roll
Kingston,Jamaica -Jamaica Observer -May 08, 2014: -- Minister of Transport, Works and Housing, Dr. Omar Davies, received the 73 new Volvo buses bought for the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) at an official handing over of the units... The 69 units for the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region (KMTR) will be placed at the Spanish Town, Portmore, and Rockfort JUTC depots. Four of the units have been customized to cater to the needs of persons with disabilities... The addition of the 73 new buses has increased JUTC’s seating capacity by 3,500, the state-owned company said...
