* Macedonia - First stone ceremony for new Van Hool plant in
Skopje, Macedonia -Busworld (Belgium) -24 July 2012: -- The Belgian bus and coach manufacturer Van Hool has started building a new bus and coach plant, which should be operational in the second half of 2013... The first stone for the new plant was laid by Filip van Hool, executive director of Van Hool, in the presence of the Prime Minister of Macedonia, Nikola Gruevski, and other local authorities... The first vehicles will be leaving the new plant in the second part of 2013, and will be shown during the Busworld Exhibition 2013, to be held in October in Kortrijk, Belgium... Van Hool is an independant Belgian manufacturer of buses, coaches and industrial vehicles, founded in 1947 in Koningshooikt. The majority of the vehicles produced is exported to various European countries and to the USA. Van Hool has some 4,000 employees worldwide, the majority working in the production facilities in Koningshooikt and Bree...
