BUSMAKERS' NEWS * China - FAW's hybrid buses roll onto Dalian street
Shanghai,China -Gasgoo, by Ally -January 05, 2009: -- FAW Group's 12 city hybrid buses have rolled onto the streets of Dalian City in northeastern China's Liaoning province, state Xinhua News Agency reported Monday... Another 88 new-energy buses will be added to the city’s bus fleet afterwards, the report said. The FAW hybrid-electric City Bus deliver a fuel economy increase of 38% and an emissions reduction of 30%, compared to traditional diesel buses... According to the KPMG China Commercial Vehicles Market Report, the annual medium and heavy trucks and buses built in China have reached more than 1.1 million units, with FAW holding a 22% share of that volume...
