SOLUTION * UK - Stamping out trouble on buses

Every weekday, around 4,000 youngsters pour into Bexleyheath Broadway at the same time, looking for a bus to take them home.

London,UK -News Shopper, by Linda Piper -5 Feb 2008: -- Operation Paris has been trying to deal with the resulting chaos... Police sergeant Colin Davis says when he arrived in Bexley, he was shocked by the number of young people he saw in the Broadway and outside schools waiting for buses... He is one of the sergeants in charge of Bexley's Safer Transport policing team, which is tasked with helping to stamp out trouble on the borough's buses and on bus routes... The result of his concerns has been a joint police and Transport for London (TfL) operation aimed at trying to bring some order to the situation...
