BUSES' PURCHASE * UK - National Express spends £69m on new buses
Glasgow,Scotland,UK -The Herald, by DOUGLAS HAMILTON -May 31 2007: -- National Express Group said yesterday that it has placed orders worth £69m with vehicle manufacturers Scania and Falkirk-based Alexander Dennis for up to 480 vehicles for its UK coach and bus divisions... The order with Alexander Dennis includes 119 double decker buses totalling £26m, while the order to Swedish-based Scania comprises single and double decker buses and Caetano Levante coaches worth almost £43m...
