Singapore,China -Channel NewsAsia, by Wong Siew Ying -24 October 2006: -- Taking a bus ride in Singapore is still a relatively pleasant experience for most commuters. But it left some seeing red... Mr and Mrs Teo missed the bus on a few occasions when they were trying to get a ride out of their hometown Ang Mo Kio. The bus just didn't stop for them... Betty Yee, another commuter agreed: "They pretended they didn't see us. We were very angry"... The Land Transport Authority will look at ways to improve the public transport system in a comprehensive review due in 2007...

* USA - $1 million allocated to keep All Nighter buses running
CA,USA -Contra Costa Times -Oct. 28, 2006: -- AC Transit's All Nighter bus service has survived for another year... The Metropolitan Transportation Commission on Wednesday allocated $1 million in toll money from the Bay Area's bridges to keep two late-night bus lines running... MTC has allocated more than $2.5 million since 2004 to AC Transit and other transit agencies to operate late-night bus service...
