This began five year ago when a Dubai-based automobile firm approached Jacob Kuruvilla, 49, if he could assemble bus parts imported from China and build the bus body as well... Kuruvilla agreed, and his Chakiath Motors is doing a roaring business. The bus is assembled in Kochi, driven to Mumbai and then put on a ship for Dubai... "First we used to make just one or two buses a month. Today this has gone up to 10 buses. From April we expect to make 15 to 20 buses a month," Kuruvilla told...
