"Metro Committee Recommends Abandoning Natural Gas Buses" lacked any discussion of the use of biodiesel... a blend of 20 percent crop or animal fat-derived oil and 80 percent petroleum diesel, is effective and complication-free, and it reduces gaseous and particulate matter emissions. Further, it requires no engine modifications. Biodiesel is also competitively priced with petroleum diesel, and there are several suppliers in the area...
