INDIA - Buses monopolise city roads
HYDERABAD, INDIA -TIMES NEWS NETWORK,by ROLI SRIVASTAVA -JANUARY 12,2005 -- It is not by choice that two-wheeler drivers go zigzag on roads. They have to change their course, thanks to RTC buses, which do not always halt at bus stops. Even when they do, they cause much inconvenience to the two-wheeler drivers, as they move from the left lane to the right lane. With the bus stops located on the left side of roads, RTC buses move diagonally to the right side of the road after a halt. What may appear as a simple bus movement gives motorists nightmares...
