Switzerland -swissinfo/Reuters, By Alister Doyle -January 9, 2005 -- REYKJAVIK - Hydrogen, tested in buses from Amsterdam to Vancouver and used in the rockets of the U.S. space shuttle, is a clean power that promises to break dependence on oil and gas -- at least in Iceland... In Reykjavik, hydrogen is produced using technology developed by Norwegian energy and aluminium group Norsk Hydro. Competitors include Canada's Stuart Energy and the German industrial group mg technologies.
